I’ve just returned from my annual Internet Marketers Cruise with some of my best Internet Marketing buddies.
However, unlike every other year where we were able to fully enjoy ourselves with fun and productivity, we were struck with the news of the horrible tragedy that happened in Haiti.
None of us could stop feeling the wrath, glued to the television as they reported on the aftermath, and discussing about how we can assist with the Haiti relief.
In fact, we were quite anxious to get off the cruise ship so we can access the Internet and help make a difference.
As a victim of a previous big earthquake, this disaster really hits home…
You see, when the big quake hit San Francisco in October 1989, I was lucky to have survived it.
My family and I had been on a road trip to Los Angeles, and we had crossed the Bay Bridge less than 30 minutes before it collapsed into the water beneath, crushing the vehicles below.
Having escaped personal tragedy by mere minutes really changes your outlook on life, and I can’t help but think what would’ve happened if any of the small things hadn’t, which led to us crossing that bridge just in the nick of time.
Actually, I do know – I would not be here today…
Even though the earthquake destroyed a lot of our possessions and even damaged our property, we were able to recover thanks to all the gracious donations from kind strangers from all around the country and around the world.
Now, it’s our turn.
Whenever tragedy strikes, especially natural disasters, it is now in our hands to take back control and make sure we take care of one another.
I have personally made my own donation to aid this relief, and I am now reaching out to you, as my friend, to do the same.
If you have been keeping up with the news, you know that they need all the help they can get.
The following charities have been recommended as exceptional sources of helping in the relief effort.
Please click one of these links and make a donation of any amount, and remember, every dollar helps, regardless of how small or how large your contribution.

Please note that the above is a simply a recommended list of charities that have been verified as being ethical.
Also, because I’m based in the U.S., the charities above are U.S. based, as well.
However, the bottom line is, it really doesn’t matter care what verified charity you donate to – the important thing is that you DO donate.
So, if you prefer to donate through a charity that isn’t listed here, please feel free to do so, as long as they are verified (we don’t want any of your donations going into the wrong hands).
In life and in business, results come from taking action.
I encourage you to take action now.
If a similar disaster happens to your family, your friends, or even YOU – I’m sure you would appreciate the same.
