Hello and Happy Chinese New Year from the New Territories in my homeland of Hong Kong!
This is the first time that I actually got to spend Chinese New Year in Hong Kong since I moved to America 23 years ago, so I am definitely excited to be here.
However, this is not entirely a vacation…
I actually have various business activities to conduct in Asia for the next several weeks, including a workshop in Singapore, so I am simply stopping by Hong Kong as an extended layover.
So – If you reside in Hong Kong (or perhaps you’re friend or family), please get in touch with me either via email or by leaving a comment on this post to let me know if you’d like to meet up while I’m here, and I can make some arrangements when I return from my various other trips around Asia.
I will have private meetings over the next several weeks in various parts of Asia, but my next public appearance will be in Singapore in March for the Asia Internet Lifestyle workshop, so if you are in that area or can make it, that is another way that we can get together.
We’re just about sold out for the event, so definitely reserve your spot soon if you are interested in attending.
In the meantime, I’ve taken the opportunity of being in Hong Kong to record another marketing lesson video based on my recent experience at the travel agency.
Enjoy the video, and let me know what you think!

Hey Simon,
I’m a 15 year old internet marketer from Hong Kong as well.
Happy Chinese new year!

Hey man,
Very good and interesting video.
Most people really do not utilize google trends and similar kind of tools well enough, so this was very valid point.
Looking forward to seeing more videos from Hong Kong

You went all the way to Hong Kong to teach us Economics… what dedication!
But I couldn’t tell it wasn’t in California. The dog barking wasn’t even Chinese.
Yo Simon,
If you didn’t realize it’s more than a year since we met each other.
Too bad you’re not stopping over in SG anymore. Grr… anyhow, I’m sure we’ll get to converse in greater detail about future plans.
You reminds me of Nicholas Tze.. Gung Hei Fat Choy to you too.. Just be careful coz this year of RaT is going to sUck for most of us.. bad things will happen you know…
SIMON!!!!!
It’s been forever!!!! We met out at the Idea Conference in late jan/early feb. this year. Bryan Dease (web guy…worked a lot with Jermaine) and I are finally deciding to get more visible in the whole IM scene. We both thought you seemed like VERY cool people and would love to catch up sometime…
This doesn’t exactly relate to the blog- so sorry bout that, but say hey whenever you get a min!
