2017 Lessons – What I Have Learned So Far This Year

Posted by Simon Leung in Educational, Google, Occasions, Personal, Travel, Updates on April 10th, 2017 | No Comments

I had planned to write another one of my traditional New Year posts to kick off 2017, but with so many things going on during the last few months, I never did get around to it.

And now, we’re already over a quarter through 2017. How is your year going so far?

For me, my 2017 has been way better than expected overall, and while it can be a variety reasons, I’ve narrowed it down to one top change I’ve made this year.

I finally made the time to focus back on me.

This means doing what I’ve always wanted to do – alone (I do my best work on my own). No team. No business partners. No mentees. No one to drag me down.

Guess what? After closing off all the drama, distractions and noise, I’ve never been more happy, focused or productive.

So much so – That I’ve probably spent over 3/4 of this year on holiday, and used that 1/4 of the remaining time to launch 5 new products within the span of just a few weeks (with several more top secret projects on the way).

Life’s too precious to be doing anything other than things you enjoy with those you love.

Of course, just because you try your best to avoid drama, it doesn’t mean that drama won’t find its way to you.

To this end, I would also like to use this opportunity to announce that on a business standpoint, I am also no longer linked to any person or group at this time, including, but not limited to, those who have since become noble scam busters, targeted as scammers as well as those who may have somehow damaged their own reputations through unethical business practices and are now looking for someone to blame.

On multiple occasions with several people already so far, I have been made aware of publicity stunts whereby individuals or groups had been targeted, and some of those times, I was even accused of being the one behind a few of the campaigns.

In addition, I’ve also been notified of gossip that’s been spread about me attacking my personal character to the laughable point where it seems like I am bullying, harassing or even stealing assets I clearly do not need.

This is where part of my lesson comes in, and how you can learn from my experiences to prevent yourself from making similar mistakes in the future.

In life, there will always be haters – People who want to strike at you, play the victim, and accuse you of all sorts of things – simply because they’re resentful towards you for some reason, or none at all.

When people do something wrong and suffer the consequences, if rather than learning from their mistakes and figuring out how to solve their problems and move forward, they choose to run away from their mistakes, point fingers and attempt the public shaming route, it’s evident that there is something very wrong with them.

Accusations of wrong doing is nothing new to me and I often expect them, simply because it’s easy to assume and takes? responsibility away from their own actions.

Plus – People tend to believe any tall tales and blatant lies these days, so it’s pretty much pointless to convince anyone otherwise if they choose to believe the liars (it’s much more convenient to believe than to question).

That’s why over the years, I’ve become immune to what people think or say about me, and I simply sit back and let the unprofessional public spectacles take place (although if you ask me, if someone is so quick to find a person to openly blame and gather masses of people on their side to “defend” themselves without accepting that maybe they did make mistakes, and willing to consider alternative possibilities of what happened and should do next to resolve their issues, he or she is clearly avoiding or even hiding their own faults).

And when people’s instincts once problems do occur is to turn hostile, become disrespectful to authority figures and create an unreasonable scene while making both legal and personal threats down to the family level (you really can’t do both), there’s nothing more that you can do for them as they have evidently fallen off the deep end mentally, even believing in their own lies that they’re spreading and will convince anyone gullible enough to listen to do the same.

In the end, all are actions from someone whose “body has shit” (as we say in Chinese), meaning they are obviously guilty and putting in over-the-top effort to persuade others that they are actually the victim.

It’s always the strong and righteous ones who have the courage to stand alone and fight alone, while the weak and guilty ones feel the need to align their own cults and brainwash people into taking their side against whatever it is their evil minds want to take down.

Personally, I find no reason to have to defend myself in something so ludicrous, so even while all the rumors and straight out accusations are going on, I hadn’t officially come out to provide full details of my side of the stories like how my attackers have done to me.

However, for anyone with half a brain, I will say all it takes is a little common sense to understand the logic.

For most of the year so far, I’ve been on vacation with family and with the limited time I’ve spent online, I quietly launched 5 products already and planning to launch several more plus additional projects.

Obviously, I have better things to do than to partake in something so petty against people who are so insignificant to me.

I’ve had plenty of relationships that went sour over the years, and none of them had this happen to them, so why do I need to start now on small people who are perfectly capable of ruining their own reputations?

And for now… I’m on vacation, and have been for weeks.

I’d rather be spending time with my family, hanging out with my father who flew halfway across the world to meet us and celebrating my baby girl’s birthday with numerous parties we’ve thrown for her in various cities.

Also, when I have a few moments to myself at various times during the day, I like to spend it watching videos, catching up on reading or playing my favorite games, which can add up to hours on a daily basis.

Bottom line – I have no interest in anything irrelevant that takes away from my quality family time or anything else that I actually enjoy doing.

The kicker? These supposed “destruction campaigns” that panicked them so much into defense and attack modes are 100% reversible (with methods I have also since shared publicly) and would never “destroy” someone in the first place.

I mean, if it did work, wouldn’t public figures, famous company brands and powerful politicians like Apple, Donald Trump and Tony Robbins be “destroyed?”

Yet, they’re not, so think about it… why would I even bother wasting my time like this?

And still, without second thought, allegations and verbal assaults begin to fly both publicly and privately which includes loaded personal attacks and even attempted personal threats.

Seriously – With accusations so silly, and intimidation tactics so juvenile, who is attacking who? And who now has more ground for a legal battle targeting open slander, direct libel and attempted personal or brand defamation (not to mention potential invasion of privacy, illegal recording, breach of confidence, misuse of personal details, baseless accusations, sharing private information without consent, copyright infringement, threats of illegal use of unlawfully recorded conversations, threats of involving family, attempted theft of personal property and company assets – the list goes on and on)? :)

People really do need to think things through before so easily believing something just because it’s convenient, but actually, it doesn’t matter to me one way or another whether anyone does, which is why this is only as much as I plan to say about this ordeal.

The only thing I could have done which I didn’t was continuing to prevent these things from happening, things I had been doing consistently before to protect them, which I was no longer obligated to do and therefore stopped, resulting in their problems reaching the public eye.

Although off the record, in more than one of the instances for a few of the individuals, I’ve actually put in my own time and effort to help resolve the issues for the good of everyone involved, but that’s of course nothing you will ever hear anyone talk about (which is perfectly fine with me).

I will admit that I’m not simply doing this out of kindness or sympathy towards the target, but rather, it’s because this is also negatively affecting me as well (I’m associated with this group, seen as one of the mentors and the content also mentions me), along with whole groups linked to the situations, a few of whom I still consider as friends.

That’s the other thing – why put in all the effort to create a problem only to volunteer to fix it without telling anybody? And to talk bad about myself, too? Throw all my hard work from the past two years down the drain, affecting my own passive income?

C’mon, man. :) Common sense, people. Common sense.

Regardless, I don’t expect for anyone affected to change their perception, but at least I know I didn’t do anything wrong and on the contrary, am in fact proactively doing the right thing on something that has nothing to do with me, even if no one is looking or bothers to see things on my side.

Over the years, I’ve shared invaluable knowledge, created countless success stories, and changed plenty of lives, but not everyone will appreciate them, show gratitude or even acknowledge your efforts, and wouldn’t think twice to betray your trust and twist the knife behind your back on their way out.

That’s why I’ve learned to choose relationships wisely, and if your friends had previously warned you about entering any kind of personal or business relationship with someone, listen to them.

They may see things about them that you can’t, and it’s neither your responsibility to change their lives, nor should it be your burden to do so.

If you must have business partners, only work with humble, loyal and grateful people on the same level as you whom you can trust.

Moving forward, I’ll be spending less time with people I’m not close with and don’t trust, not only outside in social settings, but also on social media and networking sites.

I won’t be wasting my time on anyone or anything that provides no value to me or my businesses, and neither should you.

Rather, I will quietly work on my projects, enjoy my private family vacations and silently create more successes in my own businesses.

Nobody needs to know. Besides, it’s none of their business.

By keeping a low profile while focusing on value, positivity and only a handful of meaningful relationships, plus cutting off all the noise, nonsense drama and widespread negativity caused by insignificant people who got nothing ?better to do than to play immature games that have no place in your life, that leaves space for you to focus back on the important things that truly matter.

In turn, you will become a lot more happy, focused and productive in everything you do.

Hope my own experiences and lessons are helpful and that you can use this to also make what remains of 2017 your best year yet!

P.S. There’s obviously been a lot of baseless accusations which, with the evidence I have in hand that I’ve chosen not to disclose publicly, clearly shows the accusers to be dilusional (100% of those who have seen it unanimously agree), not only fabricating their own lies, but evidently legitimately believing them and spreading them to anyone who would listen.

However, as I have never been one to openly talk about people, I won’t scoop down to their level, release any details unlawfully and simply leave the gossiping? and illegal actions to the real culprits. They are obviously guilty and have something to hide.

Nonetheless, for those who are directly and indirectly impacted in any of the several scandals that have been sweeping our industry lately and would like to understand more the full situations and how they will affect your own success, reach out to me privately and I will be happy to refer you towards the appropriate resources to help resolve your problems and clear up any pending misunderstandings.

[LIVE WeChat Session] Five Secret Steps To Sell Anything Online And Gain Passive Income

(Note: If you’re in a hurry, you may scroll all the way down to access the registration link at the bottom of this post.)

In October of 2014, I conducted my first and only “Internet Profit Secrets” weekend course in Penang, Malaysia.

As with all my courses, my objective for “Internet Profit Secrets” was to create success stories. For what it’s worth, it did not disappoint.

To give you an example of what knowledge and action can do, throughout the weekend, there was a gentleman sitting in the very front row taking copious notes and asking lots of good questions.

His name is William Cheong, and with no prior online experience whatsoever, that particular course marked his very first day learning about Internet Marketing.

Within just several weeks after taking my course, William was actually able to generate USD1000 in one day from only one hour of work, which continued to grow considerably as time went on.

Fast forward to today, William is not only one of my success stories, but he is also now my Protégé, and has also been “upgraded” into a loyal business partner in the process.

I have also featured William on numerous stages across the world, including Singapore, Malaysia and Cambodia, in front of thousands of people as a success story.

William is also now a co-trainer at my workshops, mentor to my students, leader in our partnership projects and go-to coach for members of our team.

To make things even more exciting, William is now sharing his own successes and strategies as a speaker of his own!

What did William do differently than most?

The “easy” answer would simply be that he “took action,” but that is quite a cliché response, and we all know that it takes much more than that.

To learn the motivation and inspiration which drove his burning desire to transform his Internet dream into a reality, there is no better person to ask this question than the man himself.

That’s why I am so excited to invite you to his new “WeChat Session” series which he will be launching.

online marketing secrets
During this short sharing which you can access directly from your WeChat mobile app, William will reveal:

  • How to create fast income on the Internet, even if you are a complete newbie
  • How to build a real business online even if you have no products, services, experience or technical skills
  • How he was able to generate USD1000 in cold hard cash in one day from only one hour of work
  • How his business was able to continue to grow even more over the last several months as a result of small tweaks to his online campaigns
  • How you can do the same, even if your only online skill is how to add friends and make posts on Facebook (Hint: William actually make the most of my income from Facebook!)
  • And much, much more…

William has tested his sessions in the past, and they actually received so much praise from his listeners that he has scheduled another series.

This means that if you missed out previously, make sure you don’t miss out again, as what you can learn from the experience of someone who started with zero knowledge and is now on his way to the very top is literally priceless.

And in case you are wondering, yes… It’s free. So register now, pay close attention, and maybe your life can also be transformed within the few months!

P.S. I’m not sure when William will stop conducting these WeChat sessions, so my recommendation is that you click on the link above now to check whether or not it’s still live. If not, then unfortunately, you have missed the chance to learn from my Protégé.

I’m Automating My Online Business In 2016

Posted by Simon Leung in Launch, Personal, Promotion, Resources, Updates on December 14th, 2015 | No Comments

It’s hard to believe that 2015 is already coming to a close, and what a year it has been.

I’ll write more about my year in review the closer we approach the New Year, but today, I want to fast forward on my plans beyond that.

You see, I focused a lot this year on building my business through live events and webinars.

That’s because I believe in order for participants to truly understand my value, it’s necessary for them to see presentation slides, live demonstrations and hear the excitement in my voice.

Even though I’ve done quite a bit of traveling through several countries for my live shows during each of my 4 to 6 week mini-seminar series, I actually find that conversion rates are almost the same even if I’m doing webinars online at home.

Plus – When I do webinars, I get to communicate with my friends from all around the world, and are not limited only to the ones who are in the country or city I happen to be in that week.

However, the problem is that with webinars, they also need to be live, because if people can see that it’s a pre-recorded video, they would be less interested and more prone to watch it at a later time (where the “later” usually won’t ever happen).

And since the time-urgency factor isn’t there, pre-recorded webinars are not nearly as effective, which means I still need to set aside 2 hours once or twice every week to conduct these webinars.

That is, until now…

Thanks to the power of technology, I’ve found a way to automate even webinars, and although they are pre-recorded, the beauty of this software is that no one can tell it apart from the live ones.

This means that now, my entire business – from registrations, welcome and reminder messages, to the webinar presentation itself and all the follow up emails – are 100% on autopilot.

I’ll never have to cancel my plans because I need to be on duty for another live webinar again!

Simply set everything up, record the webinar one time, and the rest is set and forget until the end of time :)

This is a total game changer in business automation, and because I believe we share the same goals of achieving personal freedom, I want to share this technology with you.

No obligation whatsoever, and if you like what you see, then let’s discuss how we can work together on this to make 2016 not only our best year yet, but when we finally get to achieve a life of true freedom.

Simply give me your details at the link below, and I’ll send you full information on this brand new technology right away:

Let’s automate our businesses together starting right now and mark the beginning of the Internet Lifestyle that we all deserve, shall we?

Internet Marketing Insider Secrets in Jakarta, Indonesia

Posted by Simon Leung in Educational, Launch, Seminars, Travel, Updates on March 7th, 2015 | No Comments

internet marketing insider secrets
This weekend marks the exciting launch of a new era with Internet Marketing Insider Secrets (IMIS) in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Even though I have been periodically conducting Internet Marketing trainings in various countries over the past several years, Internet Marketing Insider Secrets is a completely new and rebranded course which combines some of the best strategies to make money online.

In fact, not only is it comprehensive in nature, IMIS also contains some of the fastest, easiest and most effective ways of making fast income online, as well as detailed blueprints on how to develop a professional brand to build long term Internet businesses.

During the past few years, I have endured personal challenges, unsuccessful professional ventures and failed business partnerships.

Since it is a time-tested and known fact that the best way to learn is from a mentor who have made the mistakes so you don’t have to, I have incorporated all of what I’ve learned from my own mistakes in life and business into this course.

You see, it wasn’t long ago that I, too, was feeling lost, stressed out and demotivated in my own businesses.

I can’t blame specific people, but I can definitely count the various circumstances where things could and should have been handled better by all parties involved.

That said, the way things have turned out doesn’t bother me one bit because to me, the best thing about being an Internet entrepreneur is the freedom.

You would never see me proclaim to the world that I have all the money, fame, fortune and material things that I want – because I don’t.

After all, I am a true believer that being rich doesn’t refer to those who have the most, but rather, it’s those who need the least.

However, I will say that I Internet entrepreneurship has allowed me to enjoy my time, personal and lifestyle freedom.

Being an entrepreneur means that I can do what I want, when I want, and nobody dictates my time but myself.

I have the choice to sleep in every day, not work when I don’t feel like it, and take extended vacations for weeks, or even months at a time.

This also means that nobody can make me do anything beyond my will, make me feel like anything less than I am, and definitely no one can “fire” or “terminate” me from anything I work on.

If I leave any project or partnerships, they have always been and will continue to be on my own accord.

Believe it or not, there are people who claim otherwise, and it makes me chuckle every time I hear of yet another time or person who suggests that they have this type of power over me, and freely spreads such rumors around to anyone who would hear it, all in their own helpless attempts for acceptance.

Egos aside, I am simply here to inspire others the same way life has inspired me to rise above the pressures and hate of entrepreneurship, because I am certain this type of experience can happen to anyone, and much more often than we would like.

The hard truth is that people will always make up stories, say bad things behind your back and push you down in an attempt to pull up themselves and their cause.

Whether it’s because they’re low class, jealous or simply don’t understand, their tasteless actions mean nothing to us, and it certainly doesn’t change us from choosing to be the best person we can be and doing the best in everything we do.

Life’s too short to be meddling into the little details of what people say or think about you; I’ve learned not to care or be involved in this type of immature pettiness a long time ago.

My advice is to let them be, and not waste any of our precious time and energy on people or things that ultimately prove themselves to be unimportant.

As the saying goes, “Be who you are, do what you want and say what you feel, because those who matter won’t mind, and those who mind won’t matter.”

Remember – Regardless of how educated, talented, rich or cool you believe you are, your attitude, integrity and how you treat others ultimately defines your success as a person.

Never let money and egos get in the way of doing the right thing… It’s not worth it to throw away the trust and respect from your peers and eventually lose all your friends in the process just so you think you can be “right.”

Two months have passed and gone in 2015, but that means we still have another ten months to go to make this a remarkable year for all of us.

For me, I have huge plans this year, and changing lives in Jakarta is only the beginning of what will inevitably be an amazing 2015.

To all the champions out there: My family, friends, students, clients, followers, blog readers, and one of the very, very few privileged business partners (or heck, even if I don’t know you) – Be spectacular! Chase your dream! Find your freedom! Change lives!

AND – A huge congratulations to all our future success stories in the Internet Marketing Insider Secrets program… See you all at the top very soon!

P.S. If you are also interested in becoming our future success story, please be sure to connect with me on Facebook to get the latest updates on any upcoming live events.

How To Have A Truly Happy 2015

Posted by Simon Leung in Educational, Inspirational, Occasions, Personal, Promotion, Updates on January 1st, 2015 | No Comments

Every 365 days on this special occasion, we would wish one another “Happy New Year!” – But, how many of us can say that we are truly happy?

There’s no doubt that New Year’s resolutions serve an important purpose in our own motivation to welcome in a new era. But without a clear reflection of the previous year and all the years before, most people inevitably create resolutions so specific, general or unachievable that they eventually abandon them altogether.

My take on the new year is to take everything I have learned and experienced over the past 12 months into perspective to explicitly declare what I want and how I will live my life moving forward.

Instead of making the same general New Year resolutions year after year that never last more than a week or two anyway (you know – lose weight, exercise more, eat healthier, save more, earn more, travel more, drink less, making this the best year ever, blah, blah, blah) why not commit yourself to attaining one life goal this time around that’s actually meaningful and sustainable, and will actually make a difference in your life and those you care about?

Mine is simple: To enjoy life and be happy.

I am a believer that general happiness is a state of mind. Despite the many challenges and tests life throws at us from time-to-time which are completely out of our control, we do have the power to choose and change our emotions if we really want to.

However, in order for us to become truly happy, what I’ve learned throughout a very eye-opening 2014 is that there are certain habits and traits we must adapt or avoid in order to achieve the true happiness we deserve in 2015 and onwards.

Per my previous blog post, 2014 was a “new” year for me. New life (in ways more than one), new country, new relationships, new commitments, new businesses, new revelations. What I didn’t include was this: new life lessons.

On the surface, what the universe gave me in 2014 was nothing to sneeze at. I couldn’t have asked for a more reasonable and smooth year even if I tried. My new projects allowed me to generate more income, while working with new partners and teams who helped me within the businesses, which also gave me more time to live my personal life and work on other things.

Behind closed doors, though, the life lessons slowly rolled in throughout a period of several months, which taught me a number of relentless and disappointing truths about humanity and the evils of the world.

Understandably so, my reserved and private nature prevents me from going into specific details of my experiences. However, the mentor inside of me encourages the sharing of my discoveries with you, because without true happiness, all your goals, objectives and achievements mean absolutely nothing.

So, what is true happiness, and how can it be achieved?

I won’t claim to be an expert. God knows that I’ve had my own share of emotional challenges within recent years. Having gone through and overcoming that, though, it may mean that I have learned a thing or two about turning an unhappy life around. Ultimately, finding the source of the unhappiness is the key to unlocking the joy of life you deserve to have.

And no, I’m not going to go into things like “what drives you” or “what motivates you” to get out of bed every morning. I’m not going to ask you to decide what’s important to you, like family, success or money. Although these are fundamental subject matters that I oftentimes share on stage and to close associates, they might be a bit cliché for this post, and definitely no real “revelation” you would need to hear from me today (maybe next time).

What I will list here are several “happiness-draining” characteristics you must avoid, both for yourself, as well as others who happens to possess them. They have sucked the energy out of me for much of 2014, and I will be staying clear away from this type of negative energy at all costs to make the best out of life moving forward.

MINDSET

I can fill you up with all the motivation in the world, but no success will ever come to you if you do not govern the right mindset to begin with.

Many people who have expressed interest to learn from me or work together later complain what they need to do is “not working” or “too hard.” You know what? Life is hard, man. No one is going to hand you the life you want on a silver platter; you are going to have to work for it. And if something doesn’t work, you keep at it until it does.

And what happens when the going gets tough? Throw in the towel and conclude that you can’t do it? I can go on all day saying things like “you can do it” or “don’t give up,” but the truth is that the will to succeed must come within yourself, and whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you would be right.

Unfortunately, society has been brainwashing us ever since the beginning of time that things are supposed to be a certain way. We’re supposed to study hard, find a job and work our tails off for the rest of our lives, making other people rich in the process. I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be this way, that there is a better way, and I honestly believe that anyone who wants it deserves it.

Even after having come so far, and already making the initial investments of time, money and effort, it baffles me how easily some people give up whenever life throws them a curve ball. Most will never know just how close they were to achieving their dreams because they gave in with mere steps to go. This is the biggest travesty of all.

If you want it, you’ll find a way, If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse. Don’t even start if you intend to quit. You’ll just be wasting your time, and mine.

Nobody ever said success will come easy, but if you are willing to stick it through, I can promise you that it will be worth it.

NEGATIVITY

There are plenty of things wrong with the world today. We get that, and we know that nobody and nothing is perfect.

Now, is it necessary to always talk about negative things? Is it a must to bring up the negativity in every conversation you ever have with anyone who would listen?

I’m personally sick and tired of having conversations with negative people because it is nothing but consistent whining all the time, and any response to positivity or reasoning of any kind would begin with “Yeah, but…,” “That’s not the point…,” or sometimes, no response at all.

Let’s get something straight. Haters are always gonna hate. There’s nothing we can do about that. The cold hard truth is that in most cases, the people who hold us back also happens to be closest friends, oldest associates or family members. You know, people we’re supposed to “trust.”

At some point, you simply need to stand up and say “enough is enough.” Relationships are important, but sometimes, it is even more important to finally realize when to tune certain people out. This means making efforts not to engage, breaking old patterns and not confiding in any and all people who don’t see eye to eye with you.

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not suggesting that we ignore potential issues by any means. If there are issues and you need to get things off your chest, it’s always a good idea to have friends you can talk to. Although, this is best done in a civil environment where your listeners share your sentiments whereby all parties are productively discussing possible solutions, rather than shoving down negativity down people’s throats.

Where there’s a wrong, there’s also a right, just like how there’s a dark side and a bright side. Instead of closing one eye and only looking at the negative side of things, keep both eyes open and evaluate the bigger overall picture and story before jumping to your own perceived conclusion.

CONTROLLING

Everyone has goals, and everyone “wants” certain things and objectives to be met.

However, there is a huge difference between striving to achieve one’s goals and attempting to control things or, worse yet, people, in an effort to make certain things happen.

I’ve never been a fan of being told what to do or having decisions made for me. As an entrepreneur, I’ve learned to make my own decisions and do what I want. I don’t care who you are, what you’ve done or what you think you’re entitled, if I get disrespected in any way, shape or form, I walk.

Even though I am a nice guy with high tolerance for many things, if anyone even tries to micromanage me or those around me, whether personally or professionally, with the intention to control an outcome of their choice, that is where I draw the line, and nice is not how they will remember me.

You are your own person. Unless you are in dire dependence on a certain person crucial to your survival and livelihood, do not put yourself in a position to be controlled by anybody.

SELF-COMPARISON

Do you know that other people’s good fortune does not necessarily steal from your own? Do you believe that there’s enough good fortune to go around?

I do, but not everybody does. In fact, some may even tend to believe that there just isn’t enough goodness in the world to go around, which is why they are always comparing others’ fortunes with theirs.

The result? Jealousy and resentment. And maybe even loss of friends.

Look, you don’t have to be better simply because someone else is good. Both can be good (surprise!), and so can the projects that they’re working on. It’s not one or the other.

If your friends are happy doing their own things, let them be. Their happiness and success will not limit your own good fortune or possible outcome in life.

Life and business shouldn’t be about comparing yourself with anybody. Just be happy with the life that you choose and the results that you get without interfering with anyone else’s.

GOSSIPY

Yes, I know. Who doesn’t gossip, right?

But – There’s a difference between the innocent kind of gossip that we’re probably all guilty of, and downright talking smack about people and whatever they’re associated with, especially if these people are supposed to be your friends.

In fact, this type of gossip isn’t really gossip – it’s more like venting and disrespecting people behind their backs any chance that they get. Nobody likes to be talked about, and if you’re talking about others, you’re putting a target on your own back as this opens the doors for others to talk about you.

Well, some people may not care. I certainly don’t. It doesn’t change the fact that I still don’t want to be around when the gossip is taking place, though. Last time I checked, high school was a very long time ago.

You can spot a gossiper a mile away, as their conversations of choice are typically about other people, their lives, and whatever or whomever they are associated with. They expect to be respected and defended if people talk about them, but more often than not, they are the one who fire the first shot, and will continue to shoot with no end in sight.

Should you have a problem with someone, deal with it directly with that person. Don’t rely on “ranting” to other people who may or may not even want to listen to it with whatever method you can think of, whether online or offline, just to make yourself feel better. That’s simply immature, and in reality, it makes you look a million times worse than the people you are talking about.

And if they’re talking about other people in front of you, you can rest assured that they are also talking about you in front of other people. Avoid this type of negativity like a plague.

UNRELIABLE

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Actually, I’ve been fooled quite a few times. “Unreliable” is an extremely conservative description because I don’t want to personally attack any of my associates, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’ve been duped by them on multiple occasions.

Probably one of the best ways, if not the best way, to lose all credibility with your network is to not do or deliver what you say. Especially when you don’t make good on your promises, accounting is not correct on agreed profit shares or compensation, or if plans are unexpectedly changed without prior discussion and agreement with little to no chance of negotiation, this puts a huge dent in the trust factor of both personal and working relationships.

Both of the aforementioned types of relationships would be impossible to withstand because the trust factor would be completely gone. Yes, it is important to make money, be successful and climb up the mountain of life to live as you wish, but please, not at the expense of your friends and partners.

The above list is by no means exhaustive, but if you can make the conscious decision to strip out as much negativity as you can in 2015, just like what I have done towards the conclusion of 2014, and start focusing only on people with positive attitudes and things with positive outcomes, I guarantee you will have a very happy 2015 and beyond.

There’s a reason why now, day after day, night after night, regardless of whether I’m talking to a thousand people, ten people or only one, I can do so with my head held high and a winning smile on my face. That’s because after over ten years in my industry and decades on this planet, I have proven to this entire world that I only have two things – determination and my word – And I won’t break either of them for nobody.

In 2014, too many public and private tragic events have happened which reminds us that life is just way too short to bury ourselves in things that upset us. We must make every moment count, and that means productively working on things that will ultimately make you a happier and more positive person.

It won’t be hard for me. As a certified introvert, I’ve been known with the ability to isolate myself from the world by staying indoors for days at a time, screening my calls and choosing my interactions. If someone or something is standing in the way of my objective to maintain a happy emotion, don’t be surprised if I end up cutting it out of my life this year.

My advice for the new year: Make the positive choice to surround yourself only with people and situations that bring out the best in you. Make your very best efforts to do the right things and never apologize for doing what you feel in your heart is honestly the right thing to do or say. If you must talk, keep your words soft and sweet, because sooner or later, you may have to eat them. Never bite off more than you can chew.

And, of course, at the end of the night, family, success and finding your motivation to wake up every day and doing what you love is also extremely important in achieving a happy life :)

With all that said… HAPPY NEW YEAR! May your 2015 be blessed with positivity, love, health, success and, of course, complete and true happiness!

Partner With Me In 2015!

Posted by Simon Leung in Launch, Occasions, Promotion, Updates on November 28th, 2014 | No Comments

In a blink of an eye, the end of the year is quickly upon us once again.

As I stroll down the streets to the sights of Christmas decorations and sounds of Holiday cheers, I very naturally reflect back on my personal 2014 to pinpoint my own successes, failures and lessons.

For me, 2014 has been a year of the “new.” New life, new country, new relationships, new commitments, new businesses and new revelations.

Through all the new experiences given to me this year, I have learned many things along the way.

I have a new realization on the importance of family. I am now more inclined to focus my time on projects which benefit not only myself, but also those who are close to me. And, I have a new understanding of “friendship” and how it should and shouldn’t be defined and appreciated.

All these lessons, of course, came with personal experiences of achievements and disappointments. Although at the end of the night, we take the blessing of a new day each and every morning as a new opportunity to learn something new about being a better and more positive person.

Which is why in the latter part of the year, I’ve finally decided to strip all the negativity out of my life, and, as far as I can help it, only focus on the people who have positive mindsets and things that will have positive outcomes.

And the results have been outstanding! Not only, as the guinea pig, did I achieve success for myself, but slowly and surely, those who were brave enough to step up to the plate and offer themselves as experiments also began earning a return on their financial and time investments. Let me tell you, it feels good to see the faces of those you’ve mentored once they receive their well-deserved checks.

As with all new projects and partnerships, it goes without saying that we have had our shares of struggles, challenges, frustrations, stress and even failures. Ultimately, though, we have reached the point where we know the business model and systems work. And now, we simply need more partners on board to join us and take the entire world by storm.

This is where you come in…

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to work with me and my team of some of the top entrepreneurs in the world and the rising stars of tomorrow to take over the planet. The full details of our online and offline project will be disclosed to you after a private conversation if we both mutually agree that you are a good fit for our team.

With that said, you must be coachable. I will ONLY work with people who are motivated, action takers and committed. Remember, I’m only going to focus my time into positive energy. If you expect that you will take no action and complain about your lack of results thereafter, I urge you to please not apply as you do not qualify and maintaining our friendship is more important to me.

IMPORTANT ACTION STEPS FOR QUALIFIED POTENTIAL PARTNERS:

If you do not qualify and/or have no interest whatsoever in partnering with me, no action is required. Thank you for visiting, and I welcome you back at anytime.

This is neither a salesletter hype nor a business proposal. I’m not even providing any details to any of our projects. You either want the opportunity to partner with a winning team, or you don’t.

BUT – If you are interested in working with me, meet the above qualifications and ready to potentially make 2015 your most successful year ever, please follow these instructions clearly to apply for my partnership program:

  • Step One: Find my JV contact form at http://simonleung.com/partner
  • Step Two: Fill in all the requested details of the form to the best of your ability.
  • Step Three: Wait for us to respond :)

As I am traveling throughout Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia these several days, I will make my best effort to personally get back to you within 5 to 7 days’ time.

In a year filled with constant negative and tragic news from all around the world, no one can surely say what tomorrow will bring, or if there will even be a tomorrow. The best that we can do is to live for today, and live in the moment. And that would mean making decisions today that your future self will thank you for.

I can’t wait to hear from you, and if a mutually beneficial partnership relationship is in our future, I look forward to seeing you with us at the top :)

P.S. My mission, which I have already chosen to accept, was to find 100 coachable partners by the end of the year that I will personally train for free who are willing to learn and work together with me to build their businesses. As I type the words on this page, I have successfully found 80 partners (no bluff! proof can be provided upon reasonable request) within just one month who are committed to starting 2015 with a bang by working hard with us for the remaining weeks that are left this year. This means that if you qualify and act fast, you can secure one of the last 20 partnership openings I’ve reserved for my 100% free training and mentorship. Don’t waste any time in making your decision, otherwise you may miss out on the boat completely once we’ve reached 100 partners, up until the time I decide to open back up this opportunity next year!

Ten Years of Internet Marketing Power Blogging

Posted by Simon Leung in Inspirational, Personal, Updates on April 30th, 2014 | 2 Comments »

Hard to believe, but today marks 10 years since I wrote my first Internet Marketing Power Blog post, entitled “Today is the First Day of the Rest of My Life.” That was the day I started my blog and began my Internet entrepreneurship adventure. In fact, the time of publication for this post is exactly 10 years to the minute. Where does the time go?

Back on April 30th, 2004, I was still working at Google Headquarters (my first day at the company was two years prior to that), and SimonLeung.com wasn’t even an active site yet. For those of you who have heard my story, you would know that my Internet Marketing journey began on Blogger.com. If you didn’t know, well, now you do ;) You can view my original Blogspot-hosted blog post by clicking on its screenshot image below:

(You can also view the imported version of my first blog post in this website’s archive by clicking here)

I know it’s only Wednesday, which means I’m one day early for #ThrowBackThursday, but how’s that for a blast from the past? :P

That’s right. Before I was known as the “Google Insider,” I was the “Little Marketer.” Before the “Internet Marketing Power Blog” existed on SimonLeung.com, the “Internet Marketing and Affiliate Marketing Power Blog,” also known as “The Little Marketer That Could…,” was born on Blogger.com. And before I found success as an Internet entrepreneur, I was a Google employee struggling to learn the ropes of Internet Marketing and entrepreneurship, all of which you can read about on this blog as the entire journey has been meticulously documented

Over the last few days, I have been going through my old blog archives in an effort to transfer them over to this website. As you may recall, I had a SQL database issue a while back. As it turns out, the original export from two years ago was corrupted, and I have no other way but to manually copy the posts over one-by-one (give me another few days to get all that completely done, por favor :). Even though I’ve continued to run into issues with broken links, lost image files and unarchived content, I found the process rewarding because it gave me the chance to read through some of my posts from the past ten years. These posts gave me a nostalgic reminder of where I came from, as well as all my personal challenges during those times. Consequently, and most importantly, they have convinced me not to take anything for granted.

Entitling my first blog post “Today is the First Day of the Rest of My Life” was originally meant to be symbolic to my Internet entrepreneurship voyage, but little would I know how accurately it would illustrate my personal life, as well. I obviously can’t speak for the future, but the first 10 years since that “first day” have been one heck of a roller coaster ride, with more ups, downs, and loops than I would have ever wanted or expected. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing for the world, as each climb, drop and hoop has shaped me to the person I’ve become today.

You may have struggled long and hard to get started. You may have had difficulty making your first dollar. You must have felt so excited after you finally made your first sale. You were undoubtedly ecstatic beyond words when you had your first taste of success. Your world may have all crashed right in front of your very eyes the moment it was all taken away. You thought of giving up on humanity and disappearing off the face of the Earth so no one can ever find you. You then “wake up” after various life events and slowly pick up the pieces, standing back tall where you once fell and make an ultimate comeback. You have a new appreciation for life and rebuild an even better one.

For me, I experienced all this plus a whole lot more during the last 10 years. Through the highs and lows, each experience gave me the reason, encouragement, inspiration and motivation to make each passing day better than the day before. Not only have I discovered that the “today” of every day is the first day of the rest of your life, but I have also learned that each new day is another new chance for a new beginning in whatever you want to do. Life is full of surprises, and it is up to you to welcome each new challenge and reward with open arms.

Personally, there are many things I would still like to do, skills I want to learn, and accomplishments that I will continue to strive to achieve. At the same time, I also discovered what kind of lifestyle I want, and have never regretted a day or a decision because I would always wake up every morning (or afternoon, sometimes late afternoon haha) with a clear itinerary to focus on the things that are most important to me. I’m very fortunate to have the freedom to make this choice every day.

Today is the oldest you have ever been. This means that you can turn all of your experiences of yesterday into everyday lessons moving forward. Today is also the youngest you will ever be. Take this as an opportunity to make tomorrow better. It’s never too late to make a fresh start, as we are all bright lights full of hope and dreams with any desired future at our fingertips. Just make sure you start today, right now.

P.S. Since we’re taking a trip down memory lane today, I thought you might be interested in exploring the visual historical evolution of SimonLeung.com over the last decade:

Happy New Year 2013 From The New SimonLeung.com

Posted by Simon Leung in Personal, Updates on January 1st, 2013 | 4 Comments »

Happy New Year!
Hello, friends, and welcome to my newly redesigned website, just in time for the New Year! And for the record, this is not only a new SimonLeung.com, but also a new Simon Leung, and a new beginning. Let me explain…

For those of you who have been following me for a while, you may have noticed that I hadn’t updated my blog in about two and a half years. During this time, while there were months when I was very active in my business, there were also many more months when I simply was not mentally conditioned to be in a social environment, much less make any public appearances at live events.

I won’t bore you with the specifics of my life since my last post 30 months ago, as it is a conversation better had over a couple drinks, anyway. To make a long story short, 2010 was extremely hectic and had its share of complications, 2011 was probably the worst year of my life with multiple consecutive catastrophic personal challenges, and most of 2012 was spent recovering from everything I had gone through and lost during that time.

Yes, I understand that these may not be the traditional motivational and inspirational messages you may expect from me or would normally hear me deliver on stage, but this is a very true and personal story of my life, one that I’ve never really considered sharing. This is real talk.

All I have to say is that I am extremely thankful for the few close people in my life who supported me during that difficult time, and encouraged me to stand back up and fight back a good fight when all I wanted to do was give up and disappear forever. And for well over a year, that was exactly what I did.

Even though I most certainly did have the means to hide away in a foreign country and live comfortably without working another day or talking to anyone ever again, which, believe me, was very, very tempting to do, these friends went above and beyond the call of duty, brought value to me in ways that were completely off the friend menu, and made me realize that life is worth living again. Make no mistake, it took a lot of time, and it sure as hell was not easy, but we did it.

My close family and friends all played important roles in giving me sources of support, strength, encouragement, care and even opportunities to triumph, persevere and move forward, and I finally made my big comeback to the Internet entrepreneurship game in the latter part of 2012.

Today, after several months of hard work building, testing and delivering brand new projects from the ground up, I know once again how it feels to run a successful business while motivating and inspiring others to do the same. Most importantly, I appreciate my life again and everyone who is in it, especially those who were there for me when I needed them the most.

And now, I am dedicated to making 2013 my best year yet. And for anyone crazy enough to take this exhilarating ride with me, I encourage you to meet me at one of my scheduled live events in the next few months, and we will sit down and have a serious conversation about changing your life and taking over the world, because that’s the direction my partners and I are heading.

We have HUGE plans! From company start-ups to new Internet Marketing training programs, not to mention product launches, live events and our private projects outside of the Internet Marketing niche, we are all geared up for one heck of a year.

I am very excited to start a brand new year full blazin’ ahead again to rock all 12 months of the calendar year, which is something that has not happened for a long time, and I want to share my excitement with you. Better yet, we want you to come along for the ride of a lifetime, because we are going to need all the help we can get!

Don’t worry if you feel like you don’t have the skills. It’s never too late to start. The truth of the matter is that we all start at zero. None of us were born with the talent and skills we would eventually develop. Through continued learning and experience, we can build miracles out of nothing.

We may continue to do great things, be lucky enough to build that success limitlessly, or, perhaps, everything can even be suddenly taken from you. That’s life, and it’s not always something that we can control. However, the knowledge you have is something that nobody can ever take away from you. You can build it all over again, maybe even better than you did before, but only if you want it. At the end of the day, it does not matter how much talent you have, it means absolutely nothing if you don’t strive for it.

I’ve gone through hell and back in a period of over two years. Heck, we even survived the end of the world (I celebrated it with an Armageddon Party)! There is nothing that life can throw at us that we can’t conquer. Remember, whether you think you can or think you can’t, you are right. Always think positive, and always believe in yourself and know that you, indeed… CAN.

I’m a big believer in everything happening for a reason, and the hardships that we all go through bring us one step closer to the person we are destined to become. I am fortunate enough to know now which road to take. We must follow this path and believe we are doing the right thing.

Personally, I can’t say that my mental state is 100% back to where it was before when it was at its peak, and I would be lying if I told you I have completely put together all the pieces of my complicated puzzle. Even though I have faith that whatever doesn’t kill us makes us stronger, it does take time before that strength is built up. Hey, we need to learn to walk before we can learn to run, right? That’s why I’m not worried. We have all the time in the world!

Plus, with the positive energy and support from my family, friends, partners, teams and even students whom I am so blessed to have in my life, I have all the tools I need, which gives me the passion to move ahead and the confidence to tackle my goals for this year, and beyond. My resolution is to make 2013 my best year ever, to represent the new me, and to mark this new beginning. Will you do the same?

BTW, I’ll do my best to update my blog more frequently moving forward, but just in case you don’t hear from me for another 30 months (fingers crossed!), we can still keep in touch and interact through social media, so be sure to subscribe to my Facebook posts or follow me on Twitter!

P.S. I’ve completely moved servers and content management systems for this website, so the new makeover is a continued work in progress. I’m still trying to work out some bugs and finalize the operation of the website, with about 300 web pages and 600mb worth of content in an SQL database that I need to figure out how to import! So please check back soon or enter your name and email address in the form on the right, and I will contact you as soon as we are all updated and ready to go. In the meantime, please feel free to poke around the new website and check out some of the information and videos from the navigational menu above. Thanks and chat soon!

P.P.S. Today is the first blank page of your new 365 page book. Write a good success story for us to read, will you? As they say, the best is yet to come. HAPPY NEW YEAR! :)

I’m Leaving…

Posted by Simon Leung in Personal, Updates on June 1st, 2010 | No Comments

In a few days, I will be leaving the country for my next, and maybe final, global speaking tour. This may be one of my last ones, for a few reasons:

1. I miss being “home”
2. Traveling for months at a time is exhausting
3. There are many other opportunities to pursue

Don’t get me wrong… Internet Marketing is still one of my passions, as there is nothing like the freedom of having your own “laptop business.” In fact, all the strategies that we have been teaching and mastered throughout the years will continue to be relevant in its marketing no matter what business you are in.

That’s why even if I were to leave my Internet Marketing business, I wouldn’t be leaving my Internet Marketing knowledge behind. If I were to start over in any new business ventures tomorrow, I’m confident they would all be successful with the skills that my business partners and I possess.

With that said, I do plan to eventually move on to a new direction as an Internet Entrepreneur. You see, for the last several months, I have been secretly working on a new project in an industry which has been more profitable than Facebook, Apple and even Google. So, I know there are plenty of opportunities out there. However, as huge an opportunity as this is, and as much as I enjoy working with this group of great friends and entrepreneurs, I still feel that I am in a dire need of a long break… for personal reasons.

Traveling the world to spread Internet Marketing knowledge and wealth education to tens of thousands of people across over a dozen countries every year has been both fruitful and rewarding, especially when we see students from all walks of life become success stories. However, this all comes at a huge price, as it has taken a tremendous toll on my personal life and relationships.

For this reason, after my upcoming global tour, which includes the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Hong Kong, China, Philippines, Vietnam and Russia, I will “hang up my jersey,” so to speak (or in this case, microphone), and will be on an indefinite hiatus. In fact, for those of you who are my avid followers, you may have noticed that my update frequency has been less and less, and I haven’t even blogged about my last several worldwide events. Truth is, you probably won’t be hearing from me in the months, or even years, ahead.

As the title of this blog post says, I am leaving, maybe for good, to live the Internet lifestyle I have been preaching about over the last several years. Let me know if you want to come with me :P

To all my fellow Internet entrepreneur friends, business partners, associates and students, I appreciate you all and wish you the best in your endeavors. Hope our paths will cross again someday in the not-so-distant future.
