Ross Goldberg’s Masters Seminar In Chicago, IL

Posted by Simon Leung in Gurus, Seminars, Travel, Updates on July 20th, 2008 | No Comments

Hello from Room 1116 of the Westin Hotel at Ross Goldberg’s Masters Seminar in Chicago, IL!

masters seminar

As you can see from the Masters Seminar sign, Ross Goldberg has gone all out with a high budget production for his latest Masters Seminar. :)

All joking aside, the sign above was only temporary while we awaited the print-outs of the real sign, which was ready before the doors opened at 8am on Friday morning…

ross goldberg

For this Masters Seminar, Ross Goldberg has put together the most impressive expert line-up yet, including some of the biggest names in Internet Marketing.

Speakers include Joel Comm, Anik Singal, Donna Fox, Ken McArthur, Willie Crawford, Alan Bechtold, Frank Sousa, Lee Collins, Robin Collins, Nathan Anderson, Tracy Repchuk, Eric Farewell, Kevin Nations, Brad Semp, Eric Stafford, Bob Jenkins, Gina Gaudio-Graves, and myself…

As always, Ross Goldberg put on a great event that not only included a ton of amazing content, but fun networking opportunities as well.

Speakers and attendees alike were able to network with one another at the conference, over lunch, dinner, at the hotel bar and even at a private cocktail party.

And within our own inner circle of friends, we’ve always believed in giving back and over-delivering…

So Joel Comm and I decided that we would do a bonus presentation for the attendees on a very logical partnership – the two sides of Google, AdWords and AdSense…

During the 90 minute or so presentation, Joel Comm and I told some personal stories and revealed some strategic ways to grow a business using AdWords and AdSense.

In addition, we also took specific questions from the audience to make sure that the content we provided was the kind of information they wanted to learn.

Overall, the consensus was that the bonus session was very valuable, and those in attendance were very appreciative of the additional content.

On a more personal note…

As much as I enjoy speaking at seminars and networking with attendees or other speakers, I feel like it might be time for me to take my own business to a new direction.

When I came back home from Asia last March, I planned to stop speaking at so many seminars to focus on my own office projects and business overseas.

However, before I knew it, my travel schedule was booked every weekend through the end of the summer.

While I continued to have fun at these various events over the summer, I’m planning once again to focus on various other aspects of my business that would require less seminar speaking.

This time, I’m serious…

I do plan to continue traveling, as I have a lot of fun doing it, but I would only do so for my own events or for International business affairs.

You’ll hear more about some exciting new projects I have in the works in Singapore, Malaysia and China in the upcoming months…

I’ll be working with my good friends Stuart Tan and Ewen Chia from Singapore, as well as some of my top performing team members, Andy Huang and Kevin Finney.

That will probably be several weeks down the line for production and launch time.

In the meantime, if you are interested in catching me one last time before I leave the country again in about a month, I will be in Long Island, NY, on August 8th, at the Three Sides of Traffic workshop that I’ll be conducting with Ross Goldberg and Howie Schwartz.

Because we’re so close to Mike Filsaime’s Long Island office, Mike Filsaime and his team will most likely drop by as well, along with several other surprise VIPs over the course of the weekend.

And again, because we believe so much in giving back, Ross Goldberg, Howie Schwartz and myself are actually not going to make any money from this traffic workshop.

Plus, in addition to receiving a free ticket to this event, you will also have an opportunity to give back yourself by helping children in need.

I honestly can’t think of a better way to wrap up my two year speaking tour than this, and would be honored to share this experience with you…

The Rich Jerk Mastermind and Party Event

Posted by Simon Leung in Gurus, Seminars, Travel, Updates on August 18th, 2007 | No Comments

Hello from Room 1709 of the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Ave of the Stars at The Rich Jerk’s Mastermind and Party Event in Los Angeles, California!

This is an exciting trip because it will be the first time that all four members of my team in one of our companies will be present (Hey, we’re Internet Marketers – doing business with people you’ve never met before isn’t all that uncommon).

tuyu

TUYU.com – Simon Leung, Sam Heyer, Lee Raito and Derek Iwasiuk

I arrived at LAX on Thursday afternoon from my quick flight from San Jose (SJC), just in time to meet up with my buddy and business partner, Sam Heyer, whose flight was just coming in from Minnesota.

As I waited for Sam near the baggage claim area, Harris Fellman shows up with his wife, Andrea, along with Jud Smith from PowerPay, and his assistant.

It was a cool surprise, and the funny thing was that neither Harris, Jud nor Sam were aware that they had shared the same flight to Los Angeles.

In any case, we all then shared a cab ride to the hotel here at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, where we checked into our rooms and settled in a bit.

Then, Sam and I decided to head downstairs to grab a bite and ran into Mike Filsaime, Tom Beal and Randy Charach, who were hanging out at the lobby and waiting for a couple other people to go to In and Out Burger.

We were then greeted by Harris and Andrea again, who preferred sushi over In and Out, so Sam and I decided to join them for some lunch there at the hotel, where we were then joined by Jason Moffat and Merlin Holmes as they made their way into the hotel.

After a little bit of mingling, we went back to our rooms to get ready to go to the Magic Castle, which is an exclusive club, and you are allowed entry only with members of the Magic Castle.

So then, we all met up at the hotel lobby with John Reese, Kevin Wilke, Jeff Mulligan, Mike Long, John Reel, Jeff Dedrick, Kevin Colon, Eric Rockefeller, Jud Smith, Wesley Williams, Tim Erway, Patric Chan and Magic Ryan Kaltman from The Rich Jerk Team and headed over to the Magic Castle to experience some insane close up and stage magic action.

The next day, we had a private mastermind session with everyone from the Magic Castle, along with more people who joined us late, including Eben Pagan, David DeAngelo, Willie Crawford, Jason Potash, Dave Lakhani, Tom Bell, Joel Therien, IIona Therien, Dave Miz, Jason James and Mike Woo-Ming.

This was a great session as Eben Pagan took the stage to talk about business building strategies, followed by an interactive question and answer session where the audience wrote down their most burning questions on the wall, and experts take turn answering them.

As soon as the mastermind session was over, we all got ready for the highlight of the trip – A party at the Playboy Mansion!

The Playboy Mansion was spectacular – and entering the property itself was an entire military operation!

I had the chance to hang out with some of my other Internet Marketing friends there, including Anik Singal, Jason Oman, Rachel Rofe, Arnel Castro and TV Stars of A&E’s “Flip This House,” Armando Montelongo and Veronica Montelongo.

Speaking of stars, other celebrity sightings at the Playboy Mansion include Paulie Shore, Bobby Brown, Mad Mike, Mystery and Adam Mesh from Average Joe.

I will spare the details of The Rich Jerk’s Playboy Mansion Party to avoid offending anybody, but overall, everyone in our group had an incredible time and the mansion was simply amazing.

Later on today, David DiNucci, one of my best buddies from Google who moved down here to Newport Beach is going to swing by the hotel to pick me up, and we’re going to drive back up to the Bay Area together.

It will be a lot of fun as we haven’t hung out since his birthday party down in Newport Beach back in February, so it will be a great opportunity for us to spend some quality time together and catching up.

MySpace Marketing Optimization

Posted by Simon Leung in Educational, Launch, Promotion, Resources, SEO, Travel, Updates on March 1st, 2007 | No Comments

Hello from all the way up on the 16th floor in room 16352 on the East Tower of the gorgeous ancient-styled Luxor hotel in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada!

I just checked into my hotel after walking through the golden hallways, and the room itself is definitely designed for the high rollers, not to mention a view to die for of the famous Luxor pyramid, whose light is so bright that it shoots all the way up into outer space!

I’ve visited the Luxor hotel before, but this is my first time actually staying in it. And the best part is – I get the room all to myself!

…For one night, that is.

You see, my girlfriend, Karen, will be flying in to join me tomorrow night after she gets off from work, and together, we will attend Paulie Sabol and Donna Fox’s Credit Millionaire Marathon this weekend, where they will not only show us, but also help us apply right then and there up to $500,000 line of credit for our businesses!

Pretty incredible stuff, isn’t it?

Despite being a seminar junkie and attending events what seems to be week after week, the caliber of the hosts, speakers and content never ceases to over-deliver.

Not only that, but the attendees are all amazing people, as well. With so many people in attendance that you want to meet and talk to, and everyone at these events are thinking the exact same thing, successfully connecting with everyone has become quite a challenge.

Believe it or not, most of us have found the solution in what can be considered one of the most effective new media for connecting and marketing – social networking sites – but more specifically, MySpace.

As you may or may not be aware, the popularity of social networking sites, MySpace in particular, has increased dramatically over the past several months…

…Not only in its original intention to meet new people or keep in touch with friends, but more recently, also for business networking and marketing purposes.

During this time, we have also seen a flood of some of the most well-known Internet Marketing experts in the world jumping onto the MySpace scene…

…Experts like Mike Filsaime, Tom Beal, Paulie Sabol, Donna Fox, Armand Morin, Dr. Joe Vitale, Brad Fallon, Stephen Pierce, Marlon Sanders, Ken McArthur, Joel Comm, John Di Lemme, Brian Edmondson, Harris Fellman, Craig Perrine, Carl Galletti, Mark Hendricks, Willie Crawford, Jeff Walker, Tellman Knudson, Stuart Tan, Matt Bacak, Scott Paton, John Reel and literally dozens and dozens more!

What we are witnessing here, especially with the experts joining in and giving permission to their hundreds of thousands of students, customers, subscribers and fan base to personally communicate to them, is social proof at its very best.

And while I can’t whatsoever speak for these experts who are leveraging MySpace for their marketing, or how well it has been working for them, I can honestly and confidently tell you that it has worked miraculously for me.

Ever since I began implementing some of my own strategies to my MySpace profile around August of 2006 after leaving Google and going full-time, my profile almost instantly became one of my top 5 traffic sources for some of my main websites!

Check out these actual stats taken directly from my Google Analytics account (click on photo for full size)…

AdWordsOptimization.com stats (Sep 2006)

MasterAdWordsOptimizer.com stats (Oct 2006)

AdWordsConsultation.com stats (Nov 2006)

BuzzMeIn.com stats (Dec 2006)

SimonLeung.com stats (Jan 2007)

TheAdWorder.com stats (Feb 2007)

Pretty neat, isn’t it?

But wait, that’s not all…

Would you believe it if I told you that my strategies can also increase your search rankings, not only for your MySpace profile, but for your other sites, as well?

Check this out and see for yourself (click on photo for full size)…

Search results for ’simon leung’ on MSN.com

As you can see, not only is my MySpace profile number 4 out of 150,333 search results, but out of the first 10 results on page one, 8 of the websites are mine, including the first 5.

How about you?

Are you also maximizing your fullest potential with MySpace, and optimizing your profile into getting the most traffic both directly and organically?

If not, the place is here, and the time is now…

Because for a very limited time only, I am releasing my brand new MySpace Marketing Optimization report for absolutely zero cost!

And if you are a fellow MySpacer, why don’t you send me a friend request while you’re there? It would be great to finally network with you, and hopefully connect a name to a face if you have photos posted…

Oh, and please feel free to tell your friends about it, too! My only request is that you send them to my MySpace profile page to download their free copy.

Send them here…

jvAlert Live! and StomperNet Live

Posted by Simon Leung in Gurus, Seminars, Travel, Updates on February 19th, 2007 | No Comments

Hello and Happy Chinese New Year from Room 842 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida!

It’s been yet another awesome and life-changing jvAlert Live! for many attendees, and this one was particularly cool because StomperNet Live was happening at the same time in the same hotel!

jvalert live

My jvAlert Live! and StomperNet Live passes

Although I had passes for both events, I spent most of my time at jvAlert Live!, simply because this is the event I had originally planned to attend in the first place, and most of my friends were also here for jvAlert Live! as attendees, experts and presenters.

As well, jvAlert Live! is also my first time returning to a seminar platform as an alumni speaker for a particular event…

Speaking in the expert panel during a Hotseat session

I made my big debut to the jvAlert Live! stage in San Diego, CA, exactly four months ago now.

This time around, Ken McArthur has brought on some of the biggest guns in Internet Marketing, and gave me the opportunity to share the stage with Mike Filsaime, Rich Schefren, Brad Fallon, Gary Ambrose, Sterling Valentine, Joshua Shafran, John Di Lemme, Harris Fellman, Jason Oman, Mike Enos, Alysan Delaney-Childs, Michael Hudson and my good friends and roommates for the trip, Jeff and Lori, the Dynamic Duo of Content Creation!

On top of that, I also shared the expert panel with additional industry experts, such as Mark Hendricks, Frank Sousa, Len Thurmond, Michael Angier, Keith Wellman, Brian Edmondson, Michael Morgan, Danny Guspie, Heidi Nabert, Michael Young, Alex Nghiem, Robert Butwin, Dan Giordano, Joe Robson, Doug Champigny, Karl Barndt and Gina Gaudio-Graves.

During private lunch sessions, we also had special guest speakers Ben Mack, Ann DeVere and Ray Edwards…

…Not bad for just a single event, don’t you think?

Well hey, let’s not forget StomperNet Live…

At that event, Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins brought to the stage additional experts John Reese, Larry Benet, David Bullock, Jeff Mulligan, Shawn Casey, Jeff Johnson, Jason Potash, Mike Woo-Ming, Jack Humphrey, Ken Leonard, Jerry West, Nathan Anderson and more.

As you can see, it was a very big weekend here at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando!

But wait… There’s More!

Exactly one year ago to the hour of his jvAlert Live! presentation, Sterling Valentine declared his 90 day $100,000 challenge with nothing but a “beat up laptop and a dream”…

…The original laptop from Sterling’s pre-JV Formula success surfaces for the first time – and here’s your exclusive look at it in his hotel room…

Oh, and remember the Internet Marketing Road Trip I told you a little over a week ago with Sterling Valentine and Matt Frasch?

Here’s the actual ‘97 Chevy Blazer the two of them are touring the country in…

To finish off the weekend with a bang, several of us went over to Frank Sousa’s house for some BBQ and socializing, followed by a recorded private mastermind session project you will soon learn more about…

That’s all from Orlando. I’ll be flying home this afternoon for a couple days before coming back to the East Coast on Thursday for the 2007 Figure Business from Mike Filsaime and Tom Beal in Long Island, New York.

That will undoubtedly be another amazing event, and I look forward to sharing that experience with you from Long Island…
