Hello from Room 345 of the Long Island/Huntington Hilton at the Three Sides of Traffic workshop in Long Island, New York!

The Three Sides of Traffic workshop is a sequel to the Two Sides of Traffic workshop I did with Howie Schwartz last December in San Diego, CA.

This time, we were joined by our good friend and fellow traffic generation expert, Ross Goldberg, and the three of us decided to team up to reveal some of our latest and most coveted traffic weapons yet.

And as a surprise bonus, we introduced an additional fourth side of traffic utilizing the power of online and offline marketing, presented by hybrid marketing experts Lee Collins and Robin Collins on the second day of the event.

The additional speakers and content were pleasant surprises for our attendees, some of whom flew from as far as Germany to join us in New York this weekend.

We always have fun at our own workshops, especially when we are joined by fellow marketing friends, whether they attend to contribute, or even just to learn.

At the original Two Sides of Traffic workshop, we had VIPs like Dr. Mike Woo-Ming, Mark Widawer, Mike Koenigs, Jason Moffatt, Ryan Kaltman and Rex Wisehart.

This weekend at the Three Sides of Traffic workshop, our VIP guests included Ken McArthur, Donna Fox, Sanyika Calloway-Boyce, as well as Mike Filsaime and several members of his team, Joe Jablonski, Jason Dinner, Michelle Galvin and Lucius Kern.

In fact, on Thursday before Three Sides of Traffic started, Ross Goldberg, Donna Fox, Lee Collins, Robin Collins and myself visited with Mike Filsaime and his team at their Long Island office.

We spent the day hanging out there and entertained ourselves with foosball, movies and video games.

Back to the Three Sides of Traffic workshop itself, Howie Schwartz, Ross Goldberg and I felt that the content wasn’t enough, and that we should have some social proof that our teachings were more than just theory.

Just like at the original workshop where Howie Schwartz and I demonstrated video marketing, we decided at the very last minute to do another live demonstration, this time the power of Web 2.0 technology and social media – just to prove that these strategies actually work (and to have a little fun).

An impromptu decision was made to actually take our workshop on the air with UStream, and we didn’t even really get the word out about the show until literally within about 10 minutes before we were scheduled to go live!

Implementing just a few of the social marketing tactics covered during the first half of day one, the attendees began using Twitter, Facebook and email to begin spreading the word about our live show.

Despite the time constraint we were working with, we still managed to get close to 400 unique viewers from all over the world (including Singapore, Spain, UK, Australia, and Canada) watching our show within just several minutes of notice!

We even had special visits from our expert friends like Tom Beal, Ben Mack, Pat O’Bryan, Jason Moffatt, Alejandro Reyes and Lasse Rouhiainen, just to name a few.

And as the show went on, more and more viewers joined us, and before the weekend was over, we had almost 600 views to our Ustream channel.

The viewers were also very much into the interaction, so we also had an extremely interactive chatroom that remained active during the show, and over 60 people actually remained in the room to chat even hours after we went off the air, which goes to show just how powerful social media is for traffic generation today, and will continue to be.

As a matter of fact, the sudden influx of visitors flocking to view our Three Sides of Traffic show impacted the streaming activity so much, that our show actually made it to the FRONT PAGE of Ustream while we were still live!

Oh, and that didn’t just happen once…

Our show made it to the homepage of Ustream AGAIN the next day when we went live on the air for the second time:

Hey, I don’t know about you, but I think that’s pretty darn cool! :)

Also, take a look at just some of the Twitter activity we had with a few of the most popular Three Sides of Traffic related searches this weekend:

If you didn’t get the chance to experience the Three Sides of Traffic workshop live with us this weekend in Long Island, we’re bummed that you couldn’t be a part of all the fun we had.

However, it’s not the end of the world because the entire weekend’s content was recorded, and you’ll be able to not only access it, but also get full resale rights to it by taking advantage of our special offer that we made available to attendees and viewers

Next year, Howie Schwartz, Ross Goldberg and I plan to return again with the Four Sides of Traffic, and this time, our friends Lee Collins and Robin Collins are going to be an official part of it.

This means that the Four Sides of Traffic promises to contain even more of the newest and most effective traffic strategies for 2009, so definitely stay tuned for more information on that.

Ross Goldberg’s Masters Seminar In Chicago, IL

Jul 20 · by Simon Leung

Hello from Room 1116 of the Westin Hotel at Ross Goldberg’s Masters Seminar in Chicago, IL!

masters seminar

As you can see from the Masters Seminar sign, Ross Goldberg has gone all out with a high budget production for his latest Masters Seminar. ;)

All joking aside, the sign above was only temporary while we awaited the print-outs of the real sign, which was ready before the doors opened at 8am on Friday morning…

ross goldberg

For this Masters Seminar, Ross Goldberg has put together the most impressive expert line-up yet, including some of the biggest names in Internet Marketing.

Speakers include Joel Comm, Anik Singal, Donna Fox, Ken McArthur, Willie Crawford, Alan Bechtold, Frank Sousa, Lee Collins, Robin Collins, Nathan Anderson, Tracy Repchuk, Eric Farewell, Kevin Nations, Brad Semp, Eric Stafford, Bob Jenkins, Gina Gaudio-Graves, and myself…

As always, Ross Goldberg put on a great event that not only included a ton of amazing content, but fun networking opportunities as well.

Speakers and attendees alike were able to network with one another at the conference, over lunch, dinner, at the hotel bar and even at a private cocktail party.

And within our own inner circle of friends, we’ve always believed in giving back and over-delivering…

So Joel Comm and I decided that we would do a bonus presentation for the attendees on a very logical partnership – the two sides of Google, AdWords and AdSense…

During the 90 minute or so presentation, Joel Comm and I told some personal stories and revealed some strategic ways to grow a business using AdWords and AdSense.

In addition, we also took specific questions from the audience to make sure that the content we provided was the kind of information they wanted to learn.

Overall, the consensus was that the bonus session was very valuable, and those in attendance were very appreciative of the additional content.

On a more personal note…

As much as I enjoy speaking at seminars and networking with attendees or other speakers, I feel like it might be time for me to take my own business to a new direction.

When I came back home from Asia last March, I planned to stop speaking at so many seminars to focus on my own office projects and business overseas.

However, before I knew it, my travel schedule was booked every weekend through the end of the summer.

While I continued to have fun at these various events over the summer, I’m planning once again to focus on various other aspects of my business that would require less seminar speaking.

This time, I’m serious…

I do plan to continue traveling, as I have a lot of fun doing it, but I would only do so for my own events or for International business affairs.

You’ll hear more about some exciting new projects I have in the works in Singapore, Malaysia and China in the upcoming months…

I’ll be working with my good friends Stuart Tan and Ewen Chia from Singapore, as well as some of my top performing team members, Andy Huang and Kevin Finney.

That will probably be several weeks down the line for production and launch time.

In the meantime, if you are interested in catching me one last time before I leave the country again in about a month, I will be in Long Island, NY, on August 8th, at the Three Sides of Traffic workshop that I’ll be conducting with Ross Goldberg and Howie Schwartz.

Because we’re so close to Mike Filsaime’s Long Island office, Mike Filsaime and his team will most likely drop by as well, along with several other surprise VIPs over the course of the weekend.

And again, because we believe so much in giving back, Ross Goldberg, Howie Schwartz and myself are actually not going to make any money from this traffic workshop.

Plus, in addition to receiving a free ticket to this event, you will also have an opportunity to give back yourself by helping children in need.

I honestly can’t think of a better way to wrap up my two year speaking tour than this, and would be honored to share this experience with you…

Hello from Room 424 of the Radisson Hotel at Ken McArthur’s jvAlert Live in Philadelphia, PA!

Ken McArthur And Simon Leung At jvAlert Live

As much of a jvAlert Live regular as I am, I just realized that it has actually been one whole year since I attended my last jvAlert Live or even seen my very good friend, Ken McArthur!

This makes me a little sad because Ken McArthur and I go way back (in Internet years) – I mean, I met the guy on a cruise in June of 2006 when I was still working at Google, and he invited me to attend jvAlert Live in Philadelphia the following week.

That jvAlert Live event changed my life…

I learned so much and made so many new friends that I was inspired to leave my full-time job at Google just six weeks later.

Ken McArthur and I crossed paths again at my first seminar as a full-time Internet Marketer, where he invited me to speak at his next jvAlert Live in San Diego, and then again at jvAlert Live Orlando, and then again at his Get Your Product Done workshop in Atlanta.

The last time I crossed paths with Ken McArthur was jvAlert Live in Philadelphia 2007, so it was definitely a big change going from hanging out with my good friend several times last year to only once this year.

That’s going to change though, because I’ve decided to work much more closely with Ken McArthur as a mentor and a partner.

Now, moving on to the jvAlert Live event itself, you can tell how high Ken McArthur has taken the level of his seminar by looking at the line-up of speakers…

Taking the stage were Internet Marketing rockstars Yanik Silver, Jeff Johnson, Mike Morgan, Stuart Tan, Alan Bechtold, Keith Wellman, Sanyika Calloway Boyce, Brad Semp and yours truly…

simon leung
As for the VIP line-up, there were no shortage of experts either with panelists Mike Filsaime, Kevin Nations, Frank Sousa, Brian Edmondson, Jason DeVelvis, Rachel Rofe, Jay White, Bob Jenkins, Larry Benet, Warren Whitlock, Jeff Dedrick, Erik Stafford, Ross Goldberg, Jeff Wark, Lori Steffan, Dr. Ron Capps, Michael Angier, Phil Basten, Jane Marks and countless others.

Needless to say, the networking was amazing, and I’d be surprised at anyone who didn’t walk away from jvAlert Live with at least one six figure a year business idea.

Because I’m familiar with the caliber of the events that Ken McArthur puts on, I also saw this as an opportunity to enrich my top trainer, Kevin Finney, and also an up-and-coming copywriting superstar, James Lee, by inviting them to attend the same event that changed my life exactly two years ago.

Kevin Finney and James Lee both graciously accepted, and by the end of the weekend – although evidently wiped out as you can see in the photo below – made the most of the event by networking their butts off and attested that it was a life changing experience for them as well.

”jvalert

Quite honestly, if you’ve never been to a jvAlert Live before or haven’t been to one for a while, you don’t know what kind of value you’re missing out on because each and every jvAlert Live is unique, and if you miss one, you’ve missed out on a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I know I missed out on a lot of opportunities I’ll never be able to get back by not attending jvAlert Live 2007 Long Beach (I was booked for a Mark Hendricks event in Atlanta) and jvAlert Live 2008 Orlando (I was in Asia at the time)…

But I know that from now on, I’m going to try my best to make it to every jvAlert Live – especially the next one – because it’s going to be in Las Vegas!

So mark your calendars for October 17th, 18th and 19th for the next life-changing jvAlert Live, and I look forward to seeing you then in Las Vegas :)
