The Virtual Masters Internet Marketing Seminar is Ross Goldberg’s third Masters Seminar this year (Masters Seminar Las Vegas and Masters Seminar Chicago), and I’m extremely honored to have been a part of all three of them.
My Virtual Masters Internet Marketing Seminar presentation was scheduled for 2pm EST, which was 3am for me in Singapore…
And because Ross Goldberg made the mistake of allowing me to speak for as long as I wanted to, I continued talking for over two hours until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore at 5:30am!
But it didn’t matter, because the environment was fun and interactive, and I enjoyed presenting in the virtually interactive seminar chatroom in front of fabulous attendees from all around the world.
Even though there is tremendous value in live events, the Virtual Masters Internet Marketing Seminar could not have come at a better time since I am still in Singapore, and would not have been able to make it if it’d been a physical event.
But with over 600 registered attendees, it’s safe to bet that the virtual seminar has the potential to reach a lot more people from all over the world since they have such easy access to all the great content and networking without having to leave the comfort of their own homes!
And why would they want to, when for seven whole days, they could learn from Mark Joyner, Yanik Silver, Joel Comm, Matt Bacak, Ray Edwards, Kevin Nations, Stuart Tan, Lee & Robin Collins, Howie Schwartz, Michel & Silvie Fortin, Patric Chan, Warren Whitlock, Colin McDougall, Deb Micek, Alan Bechtold, Erik Stafford, Bob the Teacher, Dan Nickerson, David Wilkinson, Brad Semp, Kevin Riley, Carrie Wilkerson, Lynn Terry, David Preston, Mari Smith and Micheal Savoie!
Is that a crazy list or what?
If you haven’t already registered for this Virtual Masters Internet Marketing Seminar, it’s not too late…
The Virtual Masters Internet Marketing Seminar does not conclude until Sunday, December 14th, and you will still have the chance to view ALL of the recorded presentations until January 1st, 2009.
I highly recommend that you take full advantage of this awesome opportunity to not only save money on travels and accommodation of a live seminar, but also get complete access to some of the brightest minds in Internet Marketing…
Hello from Ventura Technology Development Center on the filming set of the Social Media Simplified Web 2.0 Master Class in Ventura, CA!
Social Media Simplified Presenters Mari Smith, Deborah Micek, Linda Taylor, Denise Wakeman, Simon Leung And Nancy Marmolejo
Even though I only had one hour of sleep that I snuck in during my 6am flight from San Jose to Ontario, I was too excited to be tired as my partner Andy Huang and I then made a 2-hour commute to Ventura to take part in Social Media Simplified filming.
As a late addition to the Social Media Simplified team of talented presenters, I was extremely stoked to accept the invitation to join the ranks of Linda Taylor, Deborah Micek (AKA CoachDeb), Mari Smith, Denise Wakeman (one half of the BlogSquad team with Patsi Krakoff) and Nancy Marmolejo to speak on Google Optimization through Social Media.
Throughout the day, we learned a ton of great information about marketing with social media, utilizing Web 2.0 tools such as Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube and CoachDeb’s own Blog i360 system as a blogging platform.
During my time on stage, I was excited not only to share some of the social media tools, widgets, plugins and strategies that I personally use for my own blog to maximize the quality and quantity of traffic coming into my website, but also to have some fun and share some laughs with the great audience, as well.
In fact, we had so much fun that most of the attendees at Social Media Simplified felt that my presentation was more entertaining than it was informative! (Haha… just kidding…)
All joking aside, I’m confident that every one in attendance had a good time and hopefully, have already begun implementing some of the effective social media marketing strategies shared on the Social Media Simplified stage.
Towards the end of the shooting, all the presenters got together on stage to organize an expert panel, where we conducted live critiques of attendees’ blogs and answered questions from the audience.
After the Social Media Simplified event was over, we brought the party over to our VIP dinner at a nearby French restaurant, where we had the opportunity to network more with one another.
Before leaving town the following evening, I spent the day hanging out with CoachDeb, Andy Huang and James Lee, taking advantage of some of the best dim sum in town, as well as organizing our own “working party,” complete with sake and snacks!
Overall, I had a ton of fun and made a bunch of new connections at Social Media Simplified, so I am definitely glad I was able to make it out to Southern California for the one day event before returning to Singapore next week for The SMART Seminar.
If you weren’t able to attend Social Media Simplified, the entire event has been recorded and the DVD set will be made available within the next week, so stay tuned for more information about how you can get your hands on the amazing social marketing content so you don’t miss out!
In the meantime, you can keep up with posts, comments and photos from the Social Media Simplified presenters, attendees and fans on the #SMSV Twitter stream.
Hello from Cabin 8204 aboard the Carnival Liberty somewhere on the Atlantic Ocean just outside of the Bahamas at the i5 Gold Bon Voyage Cruise!
The Carnival Liberty, Hostess of the i5 Gold Bon Voyage Cruise
What a way to start off the year once again, with yet another well organized vacation cruise organized by the i5 Gold Mentoring Program.
However, as you may or may not be aware, the i5 Gold Mentoring Program has officially closed its doors at the end of 2007, which makes the i5 Gold Bon Voyage Cruise all that bitter sweet, as it marks the final i5 Gold event.
Notwithstanding, it was an outstanding farewell party as we spent 8 whole days aboard the Carnival Liberty, sailing from Ft. Lauderdale across the Atlantic Ocean to the exotic East Caribbean and hitting up islands like San Juan / Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Antigua, Tortola and Nassau / Paradise Island in the Bahamas!
And as you can see from the photos below, not only was this cruise a huge opportunity to build business relationships and strike joint venture deals, but we also made sure that we had a “boat load” of fun as well
There really is no better way to build these friendships than to do it on a cruise, especially because so many marketers brought along their families and/or spouses, you have no choice but to form bonds with your favorite marketers when you are a part of their family vacation.
We wasted no time at all as the fun started even before the Carnival Liberty set sail from Ft. Lauderdale Port Everglades…
Bon Voyage Welcome Shot With Ross Goldberg, Lasse Rouhiainen And Howie Schwartz
Later on that evening, our Internet Marketing group had a welcome reception to kick off the cruise, where Captain Lou Edwards and the i5 Gold Mentors took center stage to set the plans for the week.

Even though there were countless ways to have a good time on the ship (and we made sure that we maximized every opportunity), some of the best times we had were actually on land during our excursion adventures.

On the last night of the cruise, there was a Carnival Legends show where the winners of a singing contest would perform live on stage in front of the whole ship.
Out of the 10 winners who performed, 5 of them were from our own Internet Marketing group
Paulie Sabol As Elton John, Tom Beal As Ricky Martin, Jermaine Griggs As James Brown, Sarah Griggs As Aretha Franklin And Michelle Galvin As Madonna
As you can see, we just had a complete blast on the cruise, and just like last year, we didn’t want it to end.
Vacationing with fellow Internet Marketers on a cruise is so awesome because there are just a million things to do and countless ways to build and enhance our personal and business relationships.
There were just a ton of the top names in Internet Marketing that joined us this year for this private cruise, and for the most part, we had the chance to hang out with almost everyone.
However, there was one man who pretty much kept to himself throughout the whole cruise and spent most of his time with his family, but I was able to catch him and spoke with him for a few minutes, and here is a photo to prove it:
A Rich Schefren “Sighting” Aboard The Carnival Liberty Caught On Film
On every marketing cruise I’ve been on, I have had the pleasure of either meeting someone new or improving my relationship with people I have acquainted with, but haven’t had the chance to really get to know.
Being on a cruise gives us that opportunity because for 8 days, there’s really nowhere for any of us to go
So we make the best of it by getting to know each other, having a good time and above all, building the friendships and business relationships that will last a life time.
Even though the annual private i5 Gold Cruise has come to an end, there’s good news…
Moving forward, there will be a brand new and exciting annual cruise that I will have to tell you more about in a few weeks’ time.
And yes, this means that there will be another cruise next year, and we’ll make this opportunity available not only to the “VIPs,” but also to our fellow marketing friends, customers and subscribers…
So don’t feel left out if you didn’t get the chance to go with us this time around, because in just a few weeks, I’ll be able to make an announcement regarding next year’s cruise
The next one will be our biggest one yet, so stay tuned for more information about how you can join us on the next Internet Marketer’s Cruise!
In the meantime, enjoy this 5 minute short video I recorded on board the Carnival Liberty (sorry about the poor video quality - my camera has been taking a beating lately, I guess I need to get a new one soon)…
