TheSMARTSeminar.com Preview Video Call

Filed Under: Launch · Promotion · Seminars · Travel · Updates · Videos

Sep 25

Hong Kong has been in the middle of a severe storm during the past few days that has literally caused the whole city to shut down…

I’m talking about grounded public transportation, flights and ships as a result of heavy rains, thunder and winds at up to 200km caused by a T8 typhoon storm (AKA tropical cyclone).

But as we say in Internet Marketing, “the seminar must go on,” which is why Stuart Tan and I proceeded with our scheduled preview video call for The SMART Seminar (scheduled for this November in Singapore and Malaysia), he in Singapore and I in Hong Kong.

That’s right, after a two year friendship between Stuart Tan and myself that started with a private MySpace message sent to me from Stuart Tan in late 2006…

InternetMarketingSingapore.com and InternetMarketingHongKong.com (or as some people call it, “the best of both worlds” haha), finally launch their first highly anticipated collaboration by putting together Asia’s most explosive conference ever, The SMART Seminar.

The entire video interview is almost 55 minutes in length and has a lot of really important and relevant information about the value of attending live events, as well as a breakdown of all the benefits you will get from joining us at The SMART Seminar.

In addition, we also unveil our faculty line-up for The SMART Seminar, which also happens to be our very own friends, colleagues and even mentors that we hand-picked to teach at the event this November.

Our confirmed team of presenters for our first annual The SMART Seminar includes Anik Singal, Donna Fox, Paulie Sabol, Ben Mack, Mark Widawer, Lee Collins, Robin Collins, Mike Morgan and hometown favorite, Ewen Chia.

Please take the time to review the video and grab some valuable training information, then hop on over to TheSMARTSeminar.com to further discover how you can benefit from this event.

On behalf of Stuart Tan and myself, we look forward to seeing you at The SMART Seminar either on November 7th - 9th in Malaysia, or November 14th - 16th in Singapore.

Meet Your AIMVenture AdWords Assistants

Filed Under: Promotion · Travel · Updates · Videos

Sep 10

Hello from the 18th floor of the Guyang Mansion in Nanjing, China, where, along with Andy Huang, my business partner for AIMVenture Corporation, we are continuing to build out our various outsourcing teams, including AdWords Assistants, among other traffic generation services.

aimventure

Simon Leung And Andy Huang With The AIMVenture China Team

In addition to providing Internet Marketing services, the Nanjing office is also our headquarters for several other businesses, which consists of e-commerce websites and product manufacturing, supplying, trading and exporting.

However, the primary objective for this trip is to grow the Internet Marketing side of our business by hiring more traffic assistants and providing more training to the team, particularly on the Pay-Per-Click (PPC), search engine optimization (SEO) and Web 2.0 social media side of things.

Andy Huang and I have been in the Nanjing office this past week doing just that, and the team has been doing extremely well in terms of growth and improvement to their skills.

Needless to say, it’s been a hectic week, but somehow, we found the time to record a quick video to give you a brief tour of our Nanjing office :)

Larry Benet’s Speakers & Authors Networking Group

Filed Under: Seminars · Travel · Updates · Videos

Aug 27

Hello from the Silverado Resort at Larry Benet’s Speakers and Authors Networking Group (SANG) in Napa Valley, CA!

larry benet

I drove up here to Napa Valley today with Eric Farewell, not knowing what to expect at Larry Benet’s Authors and Speakers Networking Group (SANG), and really not even deciding whether or not to come until earlier this afternoon.

But once we arrived at Authors and Speakers Networking Group, we were completely floored by the caliber of business individuals and entrepreneurs present all in one room…

We’re talking about best selling authors, multi-millionaires and even billionaires, including Jack Canfield (from the Chicken Soup of the Soul series), Bill Bartmann, Ron LeGrand, Alex Mandossian, Stephen Pierce, Joel Comm, Russell Brunson, John Carlton, Armando Montelongo, Veronica Montelongo, Brendon Burchard, Mike Koenigs, Kevin Nations, Matt Morris and dozens more.

Umm… yeah, this event was NO joke, dude!

This truly was a solid networking event, and I can honestly say that I have never seen a more brilliant relationship building event model than the one I have witnessed at the Authors and Speakers Networking Group.

In addition to the speed networking sessions, everyone continued to network non-stop through dinner, and even after the event was over, hanging out at the hotel bar into the wee hours of the night.

Because I have yet to replace my broken camera and Eric Farewell also forgot his camera equipment at my house, we were unfortunately unable to capture too many moments of the Authors and Speakers Networking Group on film.

However, for your viewing pleasure, Eric Farewell has gone ahead and done a couple extra 12 second videos for you at the Silverado Resort in Napa Valley (ya he’s not as good with these 12 second videos as I am haha)…

Successfool.tv Live Show With Alejandro Reyes

Filed Under: Educational · Streaming · Updates · Videos

Aug 15

Last night, I was a special guest on Successfool.tv, a live streaming show hosted by my very good friend, Alejandro Reyes.

For those of you who don’t know Alejandro Reyes, he was my right hand guy for a while as my lead apprentice, later on became my Operations Manager and Relationship Specialist, and now a business partner and respected colleague.

I won’t go into all the details about how we met and everything because we actually tell the story on the show, which was streamed live as a chatroom packed with active viewers watched on and interacted with what was going on in the show.

The first video has a quick introduction by Alejandro Reyes, then chaos ensues for a while as we battle with technology to try to get our first ever split screen interview going.

It was a miserable failure, but we included the outtakes here for your viewing pleasure haha

The second video picks up after we decided to use a Skype call instead, and contains most of the content in regards to relationship building and how to maximize social media to leverage networking and credibility.

Enjoy the videos, and please let us know what you think by commenting on this post :)

If you haven’t had the chance to catch the video Alejandro Reyes and I did from LAX a few months back on social media, you can watch it in its entirety below as well.

Three Sides Of Traffic Workshop In Long Island, NY

Filed Under: Seminars · Travel · Updates · Videos

Aug 10

Hello from Room 345 of the Long Island/Huntington Hilton at the Three Sides of Traffic workshop in Long Island, New York!

three sides of traffic
Howie Schwartz, Ross Goldberg And Simon Leung At Three Sides Of Traffic

The Three Sides of Traffic workshop is a sequel to the Two Sides of Traffic workshop I did with Howie Schwartz last December in San Diego, CA.

This time, we were joined by our good friend and fellow traffic generation expert, Ross Goldberg, and the three of us decided to team up to reveal some of our latest and most coveted traffic weapons yet.

And as a surprise bonus, we introduced an additional fourth side of traffic utilizing the power of online and offline marketing, presented by hybrid marketing experts Lee Collins and Robin Collins on the second day of the event.

The additional speakers and content were pleasant surprises for our attendees, some of whom flew from as far as Germany to join us in New York this weekend.

We always have fun at our own workshops, especially when we are joined by fellow marketing friends, whether they attend to contribute, or even just to learn.

At the original Two Sides of Traffic workshop, we had VIPs like Dr. Mike Woo-Ming, Mark Widawer, Mike Koenigs, Jason Moffatt, Ryan Kaltman and Rex Wisehart.

This weekend at the Three Sides of Traffic workshop, our VIP guests included Ken McArthur, Donna Fox, Sanyika Calloway-Boyce, as well as Mike Filsaime and several members of his team, Joe Jablonski, Jason Dinner, Michelle Galvin and Lucius Kern.

In fact, on Thursday before Three Sides of Traffic started, Ross Goldberg, Donna Fox, Lee Collins, Robin Collins and myself visited with Mike Filsaime and his team at their Long Island office.

We spent the day hanging out there and entertained ourselves with foosball, movies and video games.

Back to the Three Sides of Traffic workshop itself, Howie Schwartz, Ross Goldberg and I felt that the content wasn’t enough, and that we should have some social proof that our teachings were more than just theory.

Just like at the original workshop where Howie Schwartz and I demonstrated video marketing, we decided at the very last minute to do another live demonstration, this time the power of Web 2.0 technology and social media - just to prove that these strategies actually work (and to have a little fun).

An impromptu decision was made to actually take our workshop on the air with UStream, and we didn’t even really get the word out about the show until literally within about 10 minutes before we were scheduled to go live!

Implementing just a few of the social marketing tactics covered during the first half of day one, the attendees began using Twitter, Facebook and email to begin spreading the word about our live show.

Despite the time constraint we were working with, we still managed to get close to 400 unique viewers from all over the world (including Singapore, Spain, UK, Australia, and Canada) watching our show within just several minutes of notice!

We even had special visits from our expert friends like Tom Beal, Ben Mack, Pat O’Bryan, Jason Moffatt, Alejandro Reyes and Lasse Rouhiainen, just to name a few.

And as the show went on, more and more viewers joined us, and before the weekend was over, we had almost 600 views to our Ustream channel.

The viewers were also very much into the interaction, so we also had an extremely interactive chatroom that remained active during the show, and over 60 people actually remained in the room to chat even hours after we went off the air, which goes to show just how powerful social media is for traffic generation today, and will continue to be.

As a matter of fact, the sudden influx of visitors flocking to view our Three Sides of Traffic show impacted the streaming activity so much, that our show actually made it to the FRONT PAGE of Ustream while we were still live!

Oh, and that didn’t just happen once…

Our show made it to the homepage of Ustream AGAIN the next day when we went live on the air for the second time:

Hey, I don’t know about you, but I think that’s pretty darn cool! :)
