John Delavera’s Turbo Seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada

Feb 27 · by Simon Leung

Hello from the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino at John Delavera’s Turbo Seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada!

Simon Leung at Turbo Seminar

The Turbo Seminar is my last speaking engagement in the United States before I leave for Asia again for a series of events and projects in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and China.

In fact, I’m flying out to Jakarta tomorrow for the first of these projects, which means that I could not stay in Vegas for the remaining of the Turbo Seminar.

If I didn’t have to catch that flight tomorrow, it would have been fun to stay in Vegas for another night or two to hang out with the fellow Turbo Seminar speakers and VIPs, including Mark Joyner, Joe Sugarman, Glenn Dietzel, Lee Collins, Warren Whitlock, Susan Preston, Donna Fox, Morgan Westerman, Andy Huang, James Lee, Warren Yip, Chuck Mullaney, Greg Mulac and Stephanie Mulac.

Even though I was only in town for a couple of days, I still got a lot out of the Turbo Seminar not only from the presentations, but also the networking with the audience, as well as the opportunity to hang out with the experts and get to know them better.

Thanks for John Delavera for putting on the Turbo Seminar, and I can’t wait to come back to Vegas again sometime after my Asia trip for another fun event.

Hello from the Lake Conference Center at the Doubletree Resort Orlando for Ken McArthur’s jvAlert Live! in Orlando, Florida!

jvalert live

Simon Leung at jvAlert Live! 2010 Orlando

As always, Ken McArthur has put on another spectacular learning and networking environment where we could meet new friends and reconnect with old ones, while creating an intimate enough atmosphere for everyone to feel comfortable getting to know each other better.

Every time I attend a jvAlert Live! event, I always enjoy seeing my friends and have a great time meeting new faces as well, which is why I try to make my way to as many of them as I can, and usually succeed in reuniting with the jvAlert family at least once a year.

This time, Ken McArthur has put together another powerhouse line-up of speakers – Sterling Valentine, Frank Sousa, Tom Beal, Robert Puddy, John Kremer, Devin Michaels, Adam Urbanski and Joey Smith, along with Lunch Series speakers Ross Goldberg, Nick Nalton, Elsom Eldridge and Mark Eldridge.

And of course, the networking was amazing with a crew of VIP experts as well as up-and-coming Internet Marketing superstars – Mark Hendricks, Jason Oman, Andy Huang, Rhonda Cort, Stefanie Hartman, Mike Weseley, Jani Ghaffor, Chris Moos, Micheal Savoie, Ryan Magin, Warren Yip, Chester Wayne, Kim Truong, Nadia Digilov, Tyler Patton, Chantal Patton, Jonathan Freeman and many others.

If you haven’t had the chance to attend a Ken McArthur event and meet the great friends we call family, or if you have and feel like it’s time for a reunion, then it’s time to do yourself a favor and take advantage of two amazing opportunities to make a difference in your business and your life.

The Impact Event 2010 in San Diego, CA – March 19th to 21st

jvAlert Live! 2010 in Philadelphia, PA – May 14th to 16th

Hope to see you in San Diego and Philadelphia in the next few months!

Hello from the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel at Mark Anastasi’s Ultimate Listbuilding Masterclass in London!

ultimate listbuilding masterclass

Simon Leung at Ultimate Listbuilding Masterclass

Even though I have spoken to a London seminar audience before via live webinar, the Ultimate Listbuilding Masterclass is the first time that I physically took center stage at a London event.

And I was in great company…

In addition to Mark Anastasi, host and promoter of the Ultimate Listbuilding Masterclass, who packed the room with over 500 attendees throughout the 3 day event, I also shared the London stage with Raymond Aaron, Keith Wellman, Reed Floren, Tracey Repchuk, Brian Koz, Steven Essa, Chuck Mullaney, Jim Graham, Daniel Wagner and Saj Purkayastha.

Also in attendance at the Ultimate Listbuilding Masterclass were the amazing crew and VIP guests, all of whom I am now excited to call my UK friends, including Miroslava Petkova, Lenka Marinkovic, Inga Binga, Vesna Florijancic, Michael Blue Pants, Amy Folkard Moore, Zoe Socrates, Phil Henderson, Hanna Angell, Davaa Dorj, Theo Handen, Dilyana Georgieva, Sohail Kahn, Samantha Hoogenboom, Julia Serbanete, Karen Strutt and more.

The networking and friendships made at Ultimate Listbuilding Masterclass was simply amazing, and Mark Anastasi definitely overdelivered with the high calibur of speakers as well as an extraordinarily well-put together event.

Special thanks to my pal, Mark Anastasi – Look forward to working with you again sometime in the near future, man!

Mike Filsaime’s Affiliate Appreciation Weekend

Jan 24 · by Simon Leung

Hello from the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, the site of Mike Filsaime’s incredible Affiliate Appreciation Weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada!

mike filsaime

Mike Filsaime at Affiliate Appreciation Weekend

I still remember being a part of Mike Filsaime’s original Affiliate Appreciation Weekend back in November 2006, but this one definitely tops the other event, or any other event I’ve attended, for that matter!

For this networking extravaganza, Mike Filsaime has specifically invited his 200 top affiliates for a two-day networking bash in appreciation for their support.

And you can leave it to Mike Filsaime to bring the world’s top Internet Marketing leaders all in one room…

That’s right – John Reese, Jeff Johnson, Brad Fallon, Jeff Walker, Russell Brunson, Andy Jenkins, Jason Potash, Howie Schwartz, Jeff Mulligan, Tom Beal, Harris Fellman, Sterling Valentine, Jeff Dedrick, Ross Goldberg, Dr. Mike Woo-Ming, Jeff Mills, Glen Hopkins, Gary Ambrose, Jason Moffatt, Jon Walker, “Big Jason” Henderson, Shoemoney, Jason James, Keith Wellman, Joel Therien, Brian Koz, Joe Jablonski, Erik Stafford, Rich Cook, Andy Huang, James Lee and more were “in da house” at Affiliate Appreciation Weekend!

Needless to say, Affiliate Appreciation Weekend was a tremendously insane two days of power networking… especially when all of the top players in the industry were right there, ready to exchange business cards.

In fact, in only a matter of a few hours, I not only accrued five new projects for 2010, but I also secured several additional speaking engagements for this year, including seminars all across the United States, as well as UK, Dubai and Spain.

However, that’s not all…

At the private “no cameras allowed” party that closed off Affiliate Appreciation Weekend, Mike Filsaime pulled out all the stops with the top-of-the-line VIP bash at Lavo Nightclub!

In addition to the beautiful ladies of Internet Marketing, including “CoachDeb” Deborah Micek, Joanna Kinsman, Jaime Mintun, Donna Fox, Michelle Galvin, Stacy Makdad, Liz Tomey and Shelby Larson…

Mike Filsaime invited 50 more models to party with us at our VIP area!

Yes, it was the party of all parties…

In respect to the “no cameras allowed” policy, I did not personally take any photos at this private VIP bash at Lavo.

However, I *will* say that photos were indeed taken, and you may be able to see some of the ones that have been allowed to be posted on my Facebook page (that’s if they’re still up!).

All in all, I definitely have to thank my good friend, Mike Filsaime, for putting on the most fun and productive two days I have ever been a part of – Thanks, Mike, and I look forward to another amazing Affiliate Appreciation Weekend in the future!

Hello from the Internet AUStars Tour in Australia, where Nikhil Parekh and I are hosting a 10-day Internet Marketing extravaganza across three Australian cities – Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

internet austars

Simon Leung and Nikhil Parekh at Internet AUStars

After organizing several of our own workshops this year covering Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media, Google AdWords and Agency Training, Nikhil Parekh and I decided to close off our final event of the year by inviting a handful of top notch Internet Marketing experts to present alongside with us at the premiere Internet AUstars multi-speaker event.

The goal for Internet AUStars was to provide as much value as possible to our attendees, so Nikhil Parekh and I were very selective about the experts we invited – They must be successful in what they are teaching, willing to conduct not one but two trainings, and be around the entire event even after they have presented for speaker panels, hot seats, networking sessions and make themselves available for one-on-one time with individual attendees.

It was a challenge to narrow down our list of worldwide experts, but in the end, our international Internet AUStars team included Dr. Mike Woo-Ming from San Diego, CA, Christopher Guerriero from New Jersey, David Cavanagh from Thailand, Glenn Dietzel from Ontario, Canada, as well as guest appearances from Australian locals Peter Drew, Paul Barrs, Aimee Vo and Katerina Morjanoff.

Even though the Internet AUStars 10-day tour was grueling event for the entire team, it was very much worth it just to be able to bring all these worldwide talents to the Australian audience.

Hello from the Suntec Convention Center at Fabian Lim’s Asia Internet Congress in Singapore!

simon leung

Simon Leung at Asia Internet Congress Singapore

For the past week, I have been spending a lot of time with Fabian Lim and the Asia Internet Congress team as they held two powerful back-to-back events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Singapore.

This weekend’s Asia Internet Congress event in Singapore is even bigger than last weekend’s in Malaysia, with over twice the number of attendees inside the jam-packed conference room.

In addition to the speakers who presented at Asia Internet Congress in Malaysia, which included Patric Chan, Jaz Lai, Sean Roach, David Cavanagh and Kishore M, Fabian Lim has added Jo Han Mok, Benjamin Wee and Ivan Wong to the Asia Internet Congress Singapore roster.

At the close of Asia Internet Congress, Fabian Lim held a Best Speaker Award ceremony where he asked the attendees to vote for the event’s most inspirational speaker.

Here is a short video clip of the Asia Internet Congress Best Speaker Award ceremony and results…

Hello from the Wisma MCA at Fabian Lim’s Asia Internet Congress 2009 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

simon leung

Simon Leung at Asia Internet Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I’m very excited that Fabian Lim has invited me back to the Asia Internet Congress stage, as I was one of the speakers at the original Asia Internet Congress in Singapore back in 2007, which was also my very first speaking engagement in Singapore.

Since meeting for the first time at that event, Fabian Lim and I have become very close friends, speaking at each other’s events, and also planning some exciting events of our own scheduled to launch in Q1 of 2010.

I have decided to partner with Fabian Lim not only because he is a great friend who knows what he is doing when it comes to search engine optimization and Pay-Per-Click advertising, but also because he is one of the few promoters who knows how to put on amazing live events.

And it was definitely no exception this weekend at Asia Internet Congress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

An event complete with some of the top experts in the world, motivated audience, well-trained crew and exceptional planning, Asia Internet Congress also included several full-blown 90 minute trainings from Fabian Lim himself.

In addition to the individual speaker presentations, expert panels and networking sessions, Asia Internet Congress is definitely one of the highest valued live events anyone can expect to attend at any given time.

And next weekend, I am very excited to return to Fabian Lim’s stage once again when he hosts Asia Internet Congress in Singapore.

Ken McArthur’s jvAlert Live 2009 in San Diego, CA

Hello from the Westin (Emerald Plaza) at Ken McArthur’s jvAlert Live in San Diego, CA!

simon leung

Simon Leung at jvAlert Live speaking in front of Ken McArthur, Marlon Sanders, Frank Sousa, Glenn Dietzel and Peter Parks

At the last minute, Ken McArthur invited me to host one of the VIP lunch sessions at jvAlert Live, and because Ken McArthur is such a close friend, I accepted and was on the next flight to San Diego to speak for him at my last America-based speaking engagement of the year.

With a room filled with some of the top VIPs in the Internet Marketing industry, including Marlon Sanders, Frank Sousa, Glenn Dietzel, Peter Parks, my business parters Andy Huang and David DiNucci, I actually pulled off a 90 minute presentation with no powerpoint – while everyone was eating!

It was very interesting experience, and I wouldn’t do it for anyone else except my buddy, Ken McArthur!
